Vexscheworld had previously named the Song “Soldier” as the headliner of Falz’s sophomore studio album named “Stories that touch”.  The bahd guy definitely knew he had to blow us away with this video, little did we  know he would not only blow us away but also take us to the moon. Soldier (The Video) boasts a staggering 14: 35 minutes! It is actually a movie!

We all know Falz recently bagged a movie award at the just concluded African magic viewers choice award for best actor in a comedy, ( Jenifa’s  Diary ) , He decided to give us the best of both worlds  by thrilling us with music, and comedy.

The video opens showing  Falz and some of his “Soldier pals trying to rescue  simi and her colleagues from the captivity of gangsters. Then does a flash back to when Falz had been trying to woe Simi to no avail. He only gets embarrassed by her friends and her mother. After she tells him off, Simi is kidnapped by Ganisters and Falz is called onto taunt him to come to the rescue by gangsters.
The video clarity is awesome!! Shot by Capital dreams pictures. It is also comical as Falz gives us a performance of his comic double. The song itself comes on around 5:15 seconds into the video.
We are treated to the awesome vocals of Simi and the rapping prowess of the Bahd guy! Till the musical terminates around 8 :34 seconds into the video.
The acting performance of the characters in the video was very good. Simi did not do badly with acting also, she may soon be on her way to nollywood stardom!
We also noticed a funny reference made to the headies Fiasco of Donjazzy and Olamide when the lead gangster tells Falz “if you want the girl, come and collect the her”
The video is top notch and we at vexscheworld see it bagging a lot of awards soon!!
Once again, Falz and Simi have given us a good production, the music chemistry between these two is STRONG !!
