LOCKED AWAY (R.city ft Adam Levine)

Locked away is a Raggae fusion  song tending more to the dance hall side. It is a song by Rock city ft Adam Levine who is the lead singer of popular band Maroon 5. It was released mid way in 2015. June 29 to be precise .

The Review
The song really goes out to touch the heart. It speaks about the worries of a Lover wondering what would happen if he is no longer around , or if he did not have much to offer anylonger. ‘’ If I could not buy you the fancy things of life , tell me if you would stay around ” He shares the burden of every typical Love bird who wonders if really the marriage vows ‘’ For better, For worse’’ is for real . The rate of DIVORCE these days is really alarming !!!!
When things turn soar, when they don’t go our own way, we tend to run away. This song provides a little inspiration and insight into sticking and holding on when things go bad.

The remix
The remix featured American rapper Lil Wayne who delivered one of his typical classics on this one !!!! . Lil wayne reminds us that he is deep. When you listen to his rap on this song, you cannot but agree that he has  a poetic heart.  Read the lyrics to Lil Wayne’s rap below
This song is delivered in a tune that really gets one to reflect. The interesting part is part is that you can also dance to it. Not plenty “shaking of body” needs to be involved. It is the “dinner” kindda dance.

VEXSCHEWORLD REVIEW RATING = 4.1/5
Favorite Part : Most of the lyrics in the  song was really  beautiful . Lil wayne’s rap particularly struck a chord  it was pure poetic beauty. Enjoy the lyrics below

[Verse 1: Lil Wayne]
Uh, I’m going away for a while
Pray for me child, would you wait for me now?
I know sometimes confusion can get weighed to the doubt
And sometimes I fall short of what I say I’m about, but
At my best I am love

And nothing comes easy but in god we trust
And she ride for me and I ride for us
She knew it be this way she said sign me up
And she lock it down when they lock me up
I knock it down she say knock me up
And when time get rough she take time adjust
And push come to shove she break down and puff
I can’t say enough, can’t make this up
Blood sweat and tears and love faith and luck
Sometimes we afraid, sometimes we are wrong
But with out being scared we don’t get to be strong
(Love hard love long)

[Chorus: Adam Levine]
If I got locked away
And we lost it all today
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?
If I showed you my flaws
If I couldn’t be strong
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?

[Verse 2: R. City]
Right about now
If a judge ‘for life’ me, would you stay by my side?
Or is you gonna say goodbye?
Can you tell me right now?
If I couldn’t buy you the fancy things in life
Shawty, would it be alright?
Come on show me that you are down

[Pre-Chorus: R. City]
Now tell me would you really ride for me?
Baby tell me would you die for me?
Would you spend your whole life with me?
Would you be there to always hold me down?
Tell me would you really cry for me?
Baby don’t lie to me
If I didn’t have anything
I wanna know, would you stick around?

[Chorus: Adam Levine]
If I got locked away
And we lost it all today
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?
If I showed you my flaws
If I couldn’t be strong
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?

[Verse 3: R. City]
Skiddly-down-down-down-dang
All I want is somebody real, who don’t need much
A gal I know that I can trust
To be here when money low
If I did not have nothing else to give but love
Would that even be enough?
Girl me need to know

[Pre-Chorus: R. City]
Now tell me would you really ride for me?
Baby tell me would you die for me?
Would you spend your whole life with me?
Would you be there to always hold me down?
Tell me would you really cry for me?
Baby don’t lie to me
If I didn’t have anything
I wanna know, would you stick around?

[Chorus: Adam Levine]
If I got locked away
And we lost it all today
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?
If I showed you my flaws
If I couldn’t be strong
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?

[Bridge: R. City]
Tell me, tell me, would you want me?
Tell me, tell me, would you call me?
If you knew I wasn’t balling
Cause I need a girl who’s always by my side
Tell me, tell me, do you need me?
Tell me, tell me, do you love me?
Or is you just tryna play me?
Cause I need a girl to hold me down for life

[Chorus: Adam Levine]
If I got locked away
And we lost it all today
Tell me honestly would you still love me the same?
If I showed you my flaws
If I couldn’t be strong
Tell me honestly would you still love me the same?
If I got locked away
And we lost it all today
Tell me honestly would you still love me the same?
If I showed you my flaws
If I couldn’t be strong
Tell me honestly would you still love me the same?

ALBUM REVIEW ( EYAN MAYWEATHER )

ALBUM REVIEW ( EYANMAYWEATHER )
Undisputedly the most consistent act in the Nigerian music industry, Olamide a.k.a baddosneh  hit us today with his Fifth Studio Album in Five years . It is safe to declare that he delivered again. Like what most of his works usually depict, this is no different. He talks about the hustle. Eyan mayweather when translated means “ A Mayweather person”. We all know why he chose that Title . Mayweather is an undefeated champion in the boxing ring, and the YBNL boss is connecting to that as the undefeated champion in the rap ring.  We have about 17 new tunes and 4 already released tunes. It is self-evident that Olamide connects with everything and anything he comes across. The range, variety and depths of issues and occurrences depicted in his album shows he is a super attentive person which is an important feature of a creative mind.
Some people say he only raps in his traditional dialect, but we think that is Originality
Some people are referring to his consistency as noise making, well listen up on the album and decide whether you hear noise or creativity.
This Album is tight and below you can catch our thoughts on the different songs  as we try to predict the ones that will dominate our radios and speakers in the coming weeks

1 Eyan mayweather
This tune is well befitting to be the flag bearer of the album.  It has that illuminati track feeling from one of  Olamide’s  previous albums. It also gives off the ooze of Olamide’s struggle and connection with his past. It is a well-crafted tune and really is the kind of tune that made Olamide a hit. Expect a single review of this banger soon. It Will be a definite Airwave hit.

2 Inferiority Complex
A modest tune. It may not be the biggest track on the album but communicates a message. It tells us to try and worry less and leave our worries for God.

3 Don’t stop
Lovely dance Tune. Got us shaking our body in seconds

4 Where The man
This reminds you of a Patoranking verse, a phyno track and a sarkodie Rap at the same time. Lucent tune from the YBNL Boss

5 Igaara chicken
A modest track. May not be a major hit on airwaves but was a nice addition to the Album
6 Boom  Boom Boom
Olamide introduces us to his Rnb side with this track…  We expect it to be  an air-wave hit and blow like boom boom boom. We at Vexscheworld particularly took a liking to this track. It is Something unusual from Baddoo which we found very refreshing.

7 Ball
Another lucent  tune from baddosneh . A decent addition to the album.

8 Arara
Olamide’s consistency is too impressive . A brilliant addition to the album.

9 Say something
A scintillating tune . helps us to appreciate olamide’s brilliance. Reminds us of the olamide feature on Peppenazzi  titled  illegal.

10 Be happy.
A Decent tune, telling us that life is too short and we should stack money while we can and make sure you are happy while at it. We would like to add that while you stack money make others happy also .

11 Kana Finish
Has a funny ring to it. We believe this might be the comic relief track of the album. Brings a smile to your face.

12 I’m Ok
Olamide keeps showing us why he is the most consistent Artiste in the Nigerian industry. A decent tune

13 Matters Arising
Our first familiar song.  Olamide released this hit single and it had a good number of airplays on the airwaves. Brilliant tune.

14 Lagos Boys
Another familiar song.  Olamide was surely including this viral hit on his Fifth studio Album.’
15 Maama mi
Has a familiar beginning to YBNL smash signing Adekunle Gold’s Orente. A brilliant tune and an expected airwave hit. Has a brilliant message. Olamide sings praise of a mother in a similar style that made melo melo an airwave hit. Expect this tune to be banging in ceremonies soon
16 Melo Melo.
An already certified Hit. It already made a Vexscheworld Review.  Read here. Brilliant song in praise of a lover . A certified airwave hit

17 Sold Out
Olamide deals us a traditional tune . Kudos to the producer of this track .

18 BoBo
Massive tune from the YBNL boss with a subtle message. He advises BoBos to spend their money wisely and not just on the vanities of this world. One of the Oldies but still remains a classic. A Lovely addition to the album.

19 Toriomo
Brilliant tune. Immediately we heard it reminded us of melo melo. We figure this will be the blazing track for parents and their children in occasions now. The chorus is simply beautiful. We have another song with the makings of an airwave hit

20 Jega
A beautiful gangster track with a feel good ring to it.  On this track, (if you pay attention) you would appreciate olamide’s depth and creative prowess

21 OG Waheed
Olamide ended this album with what sounds like a sick Freestyle (Sick is used in a good context by the way) . Brilliant way to end this beauty . Sound quality is awesome.
we should note another thing spectacular

about this album. It was a lone project , no collaborations. Simply cray!!

JENIFA’S DIARY

JENIFAS DIARY
Jenifas diary is a sitcom that airs on major Nigerian stations including AIT, NTA Silverbird and their likes.  Jenifa is a popular character created by  Nigerian actress Funke Akindele and was highly lauded for being excessively comical. The movies produced using this character as its high flyer were major successes.
Funke Akindele has decided we are yet to see the end of Jenifa with the release of this series earlier this year. It was rumoured she would be doing a radio talk show too but we at Vexscheworld can’t confirm the success of that.
A lot of people said that she should come up with a different idea, and that the Jenifa thing was becoming stale. Funke has proved the doubters wrong and has rebranded the Jenifa character to be better than we even knew it before.
Since Jenifas diary was aired, it has garnered a lot of attention and it is safe to declare it a hit comedy show . Now let’s get to the review.

VEXSCHEWORLD  REVIEW
What we loved about Jenifa’s diary was the constant improvement we saw on the show since it began. In many of the popular international series, it is common place to notice an astounding story line with little or no error. They always seemed  endless and they always linked up to stories and events from donkey episodes ago and the attention to detail is seen to be top notch.
With Jenifas diary we can proudly say the Nigerian film industry is capable of providing a good series with brilliant content and extreme dexterity when it comes to script writing.
Another thing we loved about Jenifa’s diary is the desire to pass across a decent message to the public, for instance in one of the episodes it was noticed that they tried to sensitize the public on the positive uses of the internet. We all know the internet is a brilliant technology , but it is mostly misused whereas  its positive and self improvement advantages are usually jettisoned.
Jenifas diary is a highly recommended program for the family. It possesses the right balance of humour and decent societal values. With Jenifa’s diary, you get to have a wonderful time with your family and enjoy humour and a good show.
Jenifas diary also has been known to bring on celebrities from the Nigerian scene to spice up the drama. Try to catch up with an episode and you would be glad you would be glad you did. You are sure to become a fan
Jenifas diary airs on AIT On Fridays by 7:30 pm, try not to miss out

Hello by Adele (The Review)

HELLO by Adele Review + the lyrics !

Adele’s hello has been a global hit since its release 8 days ago. It currently holds the VEVO record for most views within a 24 hour period. Over 27 million views . It is a typical love ballad which made Adele famous in the first place .

THE REVIEW
Hello is a song that recalls the good times spent with a loved one and also regretting that such times have become scarce because life has happened and everyone is spinning in different directions and so she makes a call to say Hello!

Adele delivers this song with powerful vocals which you would most likely appreciate even without the touching lyrics in the song.

The song was recorded with drums, the guitar, pianos , bass and the keyboard .
It’s a beautiful ballad with powerful lyrics !  By the way the song was co written by Greg Kurstin who also produced the song

Adele bounces back to the music scene and she says “Hello” . Moreover we believe her album would be something spectacular. We at Vexscheworld would be sure to share our thoughts.
The song helps us recognize that even if we don’t talk to some people who have been a crucial part of our lives its necessary to sometimes say HELLO!

FAVORITE PART

The chorus of the song really adds a lot of colour to the song, her voice was spectacular as always. Very touching. There was a beautiful blend between her voice,  the instruments and the lyrics, simply amazing.
I loved the part where she said ” Ive forgotten how it felt before the world fell at our feet”

VEXSCHEWORLD RATING : 3.9/5

Enjoy the lyrics bellow.

“Hello”
Hello, it’s me
I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet
To go over everything
They say that time’s supposed to heal ya, but I ain’t done much healing

Hello, can you hear me?
I’m in California dreaming about who we used to be
When we were younger and free
I’ve forgotten how it felt before the world fell at our feet

There’s such a difference between us
And a million miles

Hello from the other side
I must’ve called a thousand times
To tell you I’m sorry for everything that I’ve done
But when I call you never seem to be home

Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I’ve tried
To tell you I’m sorry for breaking your heart
But it don’t matter, it clearly doesn’t tear you apart
Anymore

Hello, how are you?
It’s so typical of me to talk about myself, I’m sorry
I hope that you’re well
Did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happened?

It’s no secret that the both of us
Are running out of time

So hello from the other side
I must’ve called a thousand times
To tell you I’m sorry for everything that I’ve done
But when I call you never seem to be home

Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I’ve tried
To tell you I’m sorry for breaking your heart
But it don’t matter, it clearly doesn’t tear you apart
Anymore, ooooohh
Anymore, ooooohh
Anymore, ooooohh
Anymore, anymore

Hello from the other side
I must’ve called a thousand times
To tell you I’m sorry for everything that I’ve done
But when I call you never seem to be home

Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I’ve tried
To tell you I’m sorry for breaking your heart
But it don’t matter, it clearly doesn’t tear you apart
Anymore

Somebody great by Korede Bello ft Asa

Somebody Great By Korede Bello ft Asa

Alright , so I finally bring Korede Bello to Vexscheworld! This is a musician we respect a lot and  have followed since he started catching the eye of the public, or should we say the public caught his eye  lol (reffering to his famous wink). This guy is a musician in every sense of the word and his latest single is Fire!!

From the instant I heard African Princess I knew this guy was heading towards greatness. You might not have heard African princess because those kind of songs do not really thrive well in the Nigerian music scene, well for now.

The major hit everybody probably knows korede Bello for is Godwin, and to be truthful I was not too happy with Godwin at first play, I mean it was a great song, with a brilliant message but I just thought the “African Princess”crooner could do better with his musical talent.

Alas! Mavin Records knew exactly what they were doing as Godwin blew charts away and should be winning  song of the year at this year’s headies( The Nigerian version of the grammies)  if I were to decide. By the way, who noticed the resemblance in the beat/instrumentals of  Godwin and the Mavin’s Dorrrubucci. Well, it just shows our Mavin crew was being resourceful and would not let a good beat go to waste. lol

The Review!!!!

Somebody great is about Korede Bello’s rise to fame and importance. “from nobody to somebody ,  somebody wey dey spray millions , somebody wey go save billions”. Korede Bello is definately somebody now. He explains that God that did it for him will do it for us too.

So… I can really relate with Korede Bello’s Somebody Great because I actually watched it happen to him. It was a meteoric rise. I vivdly recall when he had 3k or so followers on Instagram, and I watched those digits rise alarmingly!

The rhyme scheme korede bello employed in this classic hit is simply awesome and just goes a long way in justifying his talent. I love when a musician uses his rhymes to make a lot of sense. Beautiful rhymes passing a beautiful message.

Korede bello seeked the assistance of Asa on this one and she did justice on it. It was a lovely pair and they definately made beautiful music together. By the way, Aunty Asa , I sight you oooo, lol. I noticed a line similar to one of those on Jamie Gracie’s song , the one about being with her guitar! its not only about the line, it felt really similar to the way Jamie gracie said it too .It’s really cool, it just shows our Asa is very resourceful! and that she listens to Jamie gracie. 🙂

The beginning of the song  is definately my best part, when he talked about no longer being a child that  his bear bear has shown!!

IS IT BECAUSE I LOVE YOU mp3 ( THE REVIEW)

IS IT BECAUSE I LOVE YOU mp3 ( THE REVIEW)
LIL KESH ft PATORANKING (Prod. By YOUNG JOHN)
Picture from notjustok.com
YBNL is arguably the most consistent label in Nigeria at the moment with acts like the YBNL boss Olamide aka Badoo sneh!, YBNL Tigger Lil kesh ( Keshii sneh) , Adekunle Gold and of late Viktoh ain’t doing bad too. Releasing constant hits back to back, some carry a lot of sense others are just loveable nonsense. You can’t argue that the beats  are awesome though.
Young John is at it again. Almost every track this producer jumped on this year was a hit. He is definitely enjoying his wave of fame. Patoranking is also featured on this one. He delivers with the usual “:Patoranking” style
Lil kesh really knows how to get everyone dancing. He doesn’t always have much to say but says the little he has well.  He is also a trend starter and he has got the whole country shouting “SKIIIIIBO”. Skiibo has practically become my recent expression for excitement.
THE REVIEW
The song is a typical of the YBNL hits . An up tempo song that gets you nodding and loving the beat. Lil kesh tells a story of meeting a girl at Shoprite, and then tries to “sike” her and she was fronting. Which is normal for girls, they have to front, even if they like you. Apparently, she even liked lil kesh as she was blushing but doesn’t want to feel cheap and tells him he would have to earn even her number. Lil kesh then goes on ranting his chorus of “Is it because I love you”. Wondering if that’s why she was fronting.
He succeeds in dating her and after 2 years and  she finally admits he is the coolest. So I guess the message is after all the fronting she still loved up later! So guys if you have been on that girls case , don’t give up. The simple message I drew from  Kesh’s song is whatever your dream is , don’t give up. Keep persisting till your dream becomes a reality.
So what is that thing you are trying to succeed at but it seems like its not working. Stay on it and it will work out. Keep persisting till the whole world believes you are the coolest
A part that got me giggling is when Kesh said “she loves it when we” hmmm hmmm “  I know that you understand!” By the way, I believe it is important that we all chill for what kesh says” we Understand” till marriage, not after dating for 2 years. You can read  True love waits to evaluate my reasons further.  It’s also nice to know Kesh is exercising some restraints in scarring us J.
FAVORITE PART
I love the ending of the song when he was praising his bae, My  cutietie pweetirie, honey bunny, huddle bunny, cup cake,  sweetheart , eloe bae…. Was just cute 🙂

JAMB QUESTION (THE REMIX) Music Review

credit: Notjustok.com
JAMB QUESTION (THE REMIX)
When Simi’s Jamb question first came out, I made a mental note to do a review almost immediately, but as a professional beans man like me I did not get around to doing it. Then a remix came out and Falz the bahd guy ‘”hopped” on it and it was beautiful!
You see while I was growing up, in secondary school or there about, when you asked an irrelevant question someone would shout out Jamb Question! Usually the crowd which was the class would burst out in laughter .
Simi just made that expression go viral with her banger.
THE REVIEW
The song is witty and pictures the typical scenario of a girl being woed by a guy who practically has nothing to say, asking irrelevant questions. This is a common situation found around us. A guy sees a beautiful girl and decides he has to engage her in a conversation but practically has nothing to say so says anything and everything.
The instrumentals were beautiful and felt natural with a lovely rhythm. It is not the loud noise that has become common place in our music industry these days. It just flows and has a lovely feel good feeling. You would hear drums and a little something that sounds like a gong. It felt like the traditional folklore songs.
Falz killed it with the rap by the way. I want to listen to almost anything Falz after I heard his verse on Marry you. Falz is a witty person with an intelligent mind, so trust him to deliver whenever you provide him with a  good beat.
FAVORITE PART
It has to be Falz’s rap. I liked the way he confessed about how the girl’s beauty confused him and he resulted into saying random things like asking her if she could swim? I mean that’s hilarious. I just  generally enjoyed the display of intelligence by the 2(two) artistes by using a song to tell a story.
By the way, I think it is safe to say that Falz has arrived in the music scene, but for Simi, she is definitely a rising star you don’t want to look away from

Music review (cheerleader by Omi)

Music review (Cheerleader  by Omi)
●●●□●●●■●●●♤●●●■●●●♡●●●♡●●●●♡○○♤●●■●●●♡●●●●♢●●●♧●
Sometimes I wonder what people need substances for because you can get high enough on music and if I happened to be your doctor, what would top my prescription list  would be Omi’s cheerleader.
It is an upbeat song guaranteed to get you going  with feel good instrumentals. Trumpets, drums, etc. Omi hails from Jamaica and legend has it that he woke up humming the chorus to cheerleader  one blessed morning. He did not have plans to make it a full fledged  song and only recorded the Original version with 2 verses with plans to make it an interlude for an album but when a big music  figure  heard his song while cruising montreal, he knew the song needed a wider audience and gave it the necessary pushes and we have a world wide thriller.
The Original song was actually remixed and given some professional touches by a DJ known as Felix Jaehn. It has nice trumpets and Piano instrumentals to bring out the essence of the song.
The song only spans a little over 3 minutes, but in those 3 minutes your endorphins( the feel good hormones) are guaranteed  to be in full action. Its lyrics are really catchy too. The Title even has an alluring  appeal.  I mean, a cheerleader is a figure many girls like to associate  themselves with and is like every boys’ fantasy friend.
The song has a romantic appeal talks about getting motivation from a lover (cheerleader) . Its a song about someone who is always there for you and is always willing to go the extra mile!
If you are like me , You can listen to Cheerleader  all day without getting tired!

Favorite part:

The song is so good almost every line should come in here. But since I’m  to pick, I would totally pick verse 2, especially when he said she’s my genie in a bottle, I just love how it sounds.

Video review :

There are about 3 videos released for this song and I have only been able to lay my hands on 2 of them. Apart from the quality of the video  and beautiful scenery I did not notice anything striking about the videos . No concrete theme , just a bunch of fine babes dancing around

Enjoy the lyrics below!
Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix)”
[Verse 1:]
When I need motivation
My one solution is my queen
‘Cause she stays strong
Yeah, yeah
She is always in my corner
Right there when I want her
All these other girls are tempting
But I’m empty when you’re gone
And they say
[Pre-hook:]
Do you need me?
Do you think I’m pretty?
Do I make you feel like cheating?
And I’m like no, not really ’cause
[Hook:]
Oh, I think that I’ve found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her
Oh, I think that I’ve found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her
[Verse 2:]
She walks like a model
She grants my wishes
Like a genie in a bottle
Yeah, yeah
‘Cause I’m the wizard of love
And I got the magic wand
All these other girls are tempting
But I’m empty when you’re gone
And they say
[Pre-hook:]
Do you need me?
Do you think I’m pretty?
Do I make you feel like cheating?
And I’m like no, not really ’cause
[Hook:]
Oh, I think that I’ve found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her
Oh, I think that I’ve found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her
[Instrumental break]
[Bridge:]
She gives me love and affection
Baby, did I mention
You’re the only girl for me
No, I don’t need a next one
Mama loves you too
She thinks I made the right selection
Now all that’s left to do
Is just for me to pop the question
[Hook:]
Oh, I think that I’ve found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her
Oh, I think that I’ve found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her

Orente (Video and music review)

ORENTE (ADEKUNLE GOLD) MUSIC AND VIDEO REVIEW
Neat with lyrics and full of ideas are just a few things that describes YBNL’s smash signing Adekunle Gold. He took us away with Sade. I remember hearing sade and getting in sync with its lyrics almost immediately. Sade to me was an instant like. Well, this review is not about sade, it is about his latest hit ORENTE!

ORENTE ( THE REVIEW )
To be honest, the first time I plugged in my earphones to listen to Orente I did not particularly like it, I guess it sounded sluggish to me. It was not until I saw the video that the significance of the song struck me.
Orente refers to a lady who is not bothered by the fact that her partner is not all that “boxed up” (meaning not wealthy). Orente preaches that girls should go after love in a man not love in his money. As simple as this lesson is , it is one many of our young ladies fail to take heed too. They are too concerned with finding financial security in a guy before agreeing to getting into a relationship.
Love is now like a radio set that only functions with money as battery.
The simple truth most ladies fail to realise or pay attention to is that a guy would value you more if you truly love him regardless of what his bank account says, and it is better to struggle together and make it with your man rather than waiting for a man that has already made it. Believe it or not, chances are highest that a man you struggled with will value you more than a man who you met already made. The deal is that most people like their cake already served, they don’t want to through the stress of baking.
The song teaches that couples do not need money to have peace of mind and enjoy all the beautiful  feelings that accompany being loved.
Favorite part of the song : I really loved the beginning of the song with the guitar  instrumentals! What a beautiful  way to start up a song!

VEXSCHE WORLD MUSIC RATING : 3.8/5
Orente (The video )
The video is simply beautiful! These days you would notice that most of our Nigerian Artistes are going out of the country to shoot their videos, so it is very refreshing to find that this one was shot in Nigeria and displays some really enthralling scenery.
The girl who posed as Orente in the video is right on as she justifies the title “Orente” very well. The background scenery in the video is also really captivating. It shows Adekunle and Orente goofing aroung and tugging at each other and purely having fun in spite of the fact that things are not going too well financial wise, but nothing will steal their joy.
I also liked the attention that was paid to adekunle and Orente’s costume as they were not too flashy since they were not so wealthy. The video quality is also spot on. Nice imagery!

VEXSCHE WORLD VIDEO RATING  4/5
Favorite  part: The part Adekunle and his Orente were goofing around was cool but my best part would be the part when a guy was trying to pick up our orente in hi  ride and Adekunle whisked her away with his hands while walking away to the amusement of our ”Dorobucci” in the ride.
Tune in to Vexscheworld next wednesday  as we put another  song under our lenses!

Gospel music redefined (Jamie grace )

When  I first heard Jamie gracie’s songs I first thought they were the usual love pop songs we hear from artistes like Justin beiber, one direction and their likes. Then I tuned in my inner hearing, I started to really listen to her lyrics and when I really heard what she was saying  I was excited. She was talking about God, expressing her love for God with beautiful music.
If you look at our world today, songs about God do not really make waves when compared to songs about Bentleys , Ferraris,  Hennessy and all the vanities of life. Yes, we love to hear about these beautiful  things but the wisest man before Christ had their equivalent in his time and concluded they were all vanity.
Another interesting thing I noticed is that all these songs about the beautiful  things of life were sung with the best of beats and had the best of videos so they were mostly more interesting  to listen to than the average  gospel song. However people like Jamie Gracie , le crae etc  helped me realize that gospel songs can equally be good or even better in terms of beat, and style.
Jamie grace is definately raising the bar up for people delving  into gospel music. The fact that you are singing about God should really get you geared up to give your best and absolute best. Do not just stand next to a flower and produce a video just for producing a video’s  sake, get up there and do your best!
Some of her songs I have listened to so far and I would like you to try out are listed below.
